Ground meat is usually the largest percentage of what you get from your harvest, so finding different recipes to switch up dinner is always a plus. This venison burger casserole puts a new spin a classic dinner and can be completely customized to your and your family's specific tastes.

Ingredients
1 lb. ground venison
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup (can substitute Cream of Chicken)
1 onion, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
1 bag tator tots
Shredded cheddar cheese
Toppings of choice - pickles, catsup, etc.
Directions
Brown ground meat in a large skillet; season with salt, pepper and other spices to taste. Drain grease. Return to skillet and mix in cream of mushroom/chicken soup.
In a large casserole dish, spread meat and soup mixture in the bottom and top with onions and peppers to taste. Top with tator tots and shredded cheese.

Bake on 350 for 40 minutes or until tator tots are golden brown.
Served topped with pickles, ketchup or fresh onions as desired.
